Our Captains

The hardest working and
most dependable Captains in town:

Captain Shaun Chute (above) owner and operator.
Shaun is a Marco Island Native.  He married his lovely fiancé Tricia in July, 2002. They welcomed new sons Tyler Jacob Chute on 7/23/03 then Colby Justin on July 1st 2005! Shaun has fished these waters for over 30 years!  You wont find a more experienced guide in this area period.  Shaun was awarded his Masters Captains license in 1993 by the United States Coast Guard.  He remains current will all the required medical and first aid training to this date.  He competed in SKA Southern Kingfish Association tournaments around the state and placed in the top 15 in the division and was invited to compete in the National Championship 3 years. For the past 7 years Shaun has been awarded an A+ Top Charter Guides rating.  Shaun was also voted 4 stars in the "Top Rated Guides" which appears on the ESPN Outdoors site for 5 years now. Shaun is in good standing with the IGFA (International Game Fish Association), The Marco Island Charter Captains Association, NACO (National Association of Charterboat Operators,) FCCA and the Yamaha Captains Program.
Captain Rob Fiermonti

Capt. Rob has fished the area for 15 years and there is no one that likes to fish more then Rob. He is addicted! He has fished the coast of the Carolina’s in tournaments. Rob received his captains license in 2003 and is a present member of the Marco Island Charter Captains Assoc. and NACO.

Captain Steve Sorbara

Legend has it that Capt. Steve was born holding a fishing rod!  Born and raised in South Florida, fishing always came naturally to him.  He has been fishing the fertile waters of South Florida since he could walk.  Even when he's not guiding you'll find him on the water honing his skills. His great sense of humor, low pressure fishing/teaching style and never quit attitude will ensure you a great day on the water.

Captain Chris Gill

Chris was born and raised in North Carolina and started fishing for Largemouth Bass and Striped Bass with his father at an early age. That love for fishing blossomed and he continued to learn about different types of fishing with his grandfather at the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Chris joined the US Coast Guard in 2000 and was whisked away to Alaska right out of boot camp where he spent a lot of time fishing for Halibut, Salmon and several species of Rock Fish. He has always carried his love for fishing with him and after getting his 100 Gross Ton Masters License after leaving the Coast Guard he and his family moved to SW Florida to pursue his life dream of sharing his love for fishing with everyone! .

Captain Sean Couturier

Sean was raised in the waters of South West Florida. Growing up fishing the backwaters here gives him a big advantage. He received his USCG license in 2008 and hasn't stopped chartering yet. He so addicted he bought a Paddle board and equipped it to fish the skinniest waters of the 10,000 Islands. Sean keeps us all on our toes because he catches on that well. .
